1. One Account per user, no clone accounts.

2. Do not register under offensive user-names, or those that are website plugs.

3. Use common sense and respect others opinions. Do not troll, or post topics that may result in arguments or fights. Do not flame others for any reason.

4. Do not disrespect any staff member on the site. If you have a problem, post in feedback WITHOUT flaming them in the process. In addition, cooperate with the Administration and Moderators when they tell you to do something.

5. Profanity is not acceptable. In addition, evading the filters is prohibited.

6. Do not post spam. SPAM (Stupid Pointless And Meaningless) posts will not be tolerated. Make your posts thoughtful. Do not spam one-liners just to get your post count up. No posts like "yeah" or "OK", and do not post in all caps, as this is considered spam. Do not double post. Use the edit button. The only exceptions to this are topic bumps, which there are rules about in each section.

7. Do not post any offensive images. No Pornography, or grotesque images will be tolerated. This applies to user signatures as well.

8. No Attachments. Attachments have been disabled for regular users **except when posting Avatars**. Attachments take up space, may contain viruses, etc. We allow them in the avatar forum because we're willing to host space for those images. We will not host space for your fan-art. That's what web-space providers are for.

9. No obnoxious signatures. Do not use over-sized font, or anything else that will cause users to complain about your signature. Please be thoughtful about your signatures. The max size of an allowed image is 400x300. However if your signature is that big you will only be allowed ONE (1) signature. You can have TWO (2) signatures that are max size of 400x200. You are allowed up to TWO (2) User-bars in your signature. Any extra images will be deleted.

10. Do not flame anyone on this board, or via the PM system. If you are found to be flaming anyone on this site you will be warned. If you have a beef with someone, take it off our site. If you are going to post something that isn't even in the least bit generous, don't even post.

11. Advertising rules are as follows:

-You may post a site advertisement in the website promotion section of this board, after you have obtained the needed posts.

-You may have a link in your signature, but do not link to anything that is offensive. This is a privilege. We will take it away if it is being abused. All you need is a simple hyperlink. No overly big fonts saying "JOIN MY SITE!!!!". The staff will remove them.

-Do not PM advertise. If you are caught (and you will be), you will be warned accordingly to the situation.

-Do not advertise in ANY forum except Website Promotion. You will be banned if you do.

-Members may PM a mod/admin if someone is openly advertising or PMing advertisements and they will be handled.

-Breaking these rules has various consequences from warnings to bans. Do not abuse any of them.

12. While we do appreciate your help in solving matters, please remember that if you are not part of [YF] Staff do not pretend to be part of that authority. Let staff do their job and answer relevant YF matters. Do not try to act like you are part of staff. This is called mini-modding, and is unacceptable.

13. Not everything done by the staff is up for debate. So please do not post and cause a problem about a staff members actions. Do not harass staff either on the site or on Instant Messenger about anything revolving to another members warn/ban/suspension etc. That is between the staff and that member. If it isn't your business, do not get involved.

14. Do not ask to be part of the staff. We will come to you.

15. The YF Staff is here for the members support. To help with site related situations. You may PM us or post in the help desk/feedback sections for support regarding your issue. We are here to help.

16. 1337speak, and slang or otherwise any post that is not easily understandable will be treated as spam. This also means do a simple scan of your post and correct any obvious spelling errors, so people don't have to have to struggle to understand what you are saying.


Please be sure to follow all of these rules accordingly. If you do not, You could have your warn level raised or face being banned from Yugioh Forums.
